Telesales Executive – aYo Uganda Ltd

Job Summary:
The Telesales Executive will sell MTN and aYo insurance covers to customers via phone interactions as well as applying the cross selling and upselling dynamics to meet daily targets as set by the business.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should hold any relevant Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma from a recognized University.
· Positive attitude towards life in general.
· Enthusiastic, upbeat personality; mature, professional demeanor. Client-oriented with commitment to quality and high performance.
· Strong Telemarketing/sales skills.
· Good negotiation skills.
· Language proficiency (Multi-Lingual). English a must with Luganda or any other dominant local language an advantage
· Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
· Prior training and experience in insurance industry will be an advantage
· Excellent communication skills, especially verbal
· Good interpersonal skills
· Computer literate
· Proficient with MS Office applications.
· Good typing skills (over 16 words per minute)
· Alertness to quality, with ability to work quickly, accurately, and pay attention to detail.
· Aptitude for learning, understanding and applying concepts.
· Able to work within a team and work independently.
· Ability to work under pressure
· Sense of urgency necessary to meet aggressive sales production targets
· Possess sound data entry skills.
· Ability to work in a busy and goal-oriented sales- driven environment.
· Flexibility (Willingness to work various shift times will be an advantage
