Legal Assistant – Tax Appeals Tribunal

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Day to day administration of the registry.
· Receive and process complaints/ applications from taxpayers.
· Undertaking process service in the region.
· Keep record of the Tribunal‘s proceedings.
· Performing regional registry functions.
· Any other duties as maybe assigned by the Registrar.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal applicant must a diploma in law.
· At least 2 years’ experience in legal or court or tribunal work
· Should be computer literate.
· Basic working knowledge of tax laws and court procedures 25 -30 years old.
· The successful applicant should be ready to commence work immediately.
· The position is tenable on a renewable contractual period of three years subject to successful completion of an initial probation period of six months.
