They would like to recruit for a valuable client, a Three Star Hotel in Mbale.

Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Officer will be tasked with attracting and creating business opportunities for the three star Hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the hotel; researching and analyzing sales options.
Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Build and maintains working relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepares and submits reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Significantly contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Sales Executive should hold a business related degree.
At least four years’ experience preferably in hotel
Excellent analytical and people skills.
Good presentation skills
Good client relationship skills
Excellence in execution
High energy level
Excellent negotiation skills
Good prospecting skills
Ability to meet sales goals
High degree of creativity
Skills in sales planning, independence, motivation for sales.
