About US:
Uganda Martyrs Hospital Lubaga, formerly Rubaga Hospital founded in 1899, is a 275 bed hospital of the health network of the Archdiocese of Kampala and one of the 30+ private-non-for-profit hospitals within the Catholic network UCMB in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the smooth running of the Hospital Workshop for infrastructure and equipment maintenance.
· The incumbent will steer and supervise workshop staff in the different specialties including Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Mechanical and Equipment and Buildings/ Masonry Sections
· Ensure proper running of all hospital Utility Systems and Safe Custody of Work in Progress, Equipment and tools.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
· At least five years’ relevant experience in a similar job or related activities.
· Capable of working extra hours and willing to be called at short notice to cater for emergencies.
· Hands on use of key Workshop Equipment.
· Highly self motivated
· Ability to work under minimal supervision whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
· Prior management experience
· Computer literacy skills
· Age: Below 35 years
